From Mother to Daughter

Some pieces of clothing disappear from your wardrobe. Others become memories that stay with you forever.

For me, Calgary & Co began long before the name ever existed.

My mother owned a small clothing boutique for many years. It was a warm and welcoming place where women came not only to shop, but also for a chat, honest advice, and a moment for themselves. She knew her customers by name, understood what suited them, and made everyone feel at home.

Yet she always dreamed of more.

She wanted to modernize the store and create a fresh new look that would appeal to a new generation of women, while preserving the personal touch that made her boutique so special. But, as often happens in life, that dream was pushed aside by the demands of everyday life.

Then, unexpectedly, my mother passed away.

Everything came to a standstill.

The store that had once been filled with laughter, conversations, and cherished memories suddenly felt empty. As we said our goodbyes, one thought kept returning to me: her dream could not be allowed to fade away.

What started as a way to honor her memory soon became something much greater.

I decided to continue her legacy while taking the step she had always wanted to take herself. With deep respect for everything she had built, I gave the store a new life. The interior was redesigned, the collections were refreshed with a modern touch, and Calgary & Co was born.

A brand where her warmth and vision meet my own passion for fashion.
